DescriptionPatriots Landing are hiring full and part-time dishwashers for their Senior Living Community in Dupont, WA.
Our special community is nestled into the heart of DuPont, bordering JBLM.
Our residents are primarily military veterans and spouses that are enjoying a happy retirement among friends they previously served with, or that they have gained by joining our community.
Summary of ResponsibilitiesDishwasher responsibilities include collecting used dishes, plates, and utensils, loading washing machines, and stacking washed items appropriately.

Note that this role requires working in shifts and, occasionally, holidays and/or weekends.
Ultimately, you'll help provide an unforgettable dining experience for our residents.
Set up and sanitize dish-cleaning stationsAssist with food service delivery to residentsAssist with food preparation as needed including washing, cutting, preparing, and cleaning up.
Receive and stock deliveriesWash dishes, silverware, pots, pans, and equipment after each meal.
Ensure that all items are clean and spotless.
Perform tasks as assigned on a cleaning schedule.
Sweep, scrub, and mop the kitchen floor, walk-in refrigerator, and dry storage daily.
Empty and line all trash receptacles as needed.
Make sure that delivery docks and outside trash bin areas are clean.
RequirementsHigh school education or equivalent preferred.
Must possess the ability to read, write and speak EnglishPossess strong oral, written, and telephone skillsMust have the ability to work on your feet for 4 to 8 hours a dayPossess knowledge of safe sanitation practices, safety practices, and special diets.
Must be certified in First Aid and CPR and be capable of meeting all requirements that may be specified by the state or other regulatory agencies.
